剧情介绍：
　　故事发生在二十世纪九十年代中期至二十一世纪初的上海、台北。留学美国的建筑工程博士徐宁(高曙光饰)，是在上海石库门长大的孤儿，学成后承接上海长河地产公司的建筑工程设计，该地产项目在合资中，被台商高峻所骗，导致法人代表林长根(周晓文饰)心脏病发作。徐宁赶在义父临死之前，回来接手了地产公司及林的所有托付……
